| Our
Gospel Brunch: Good Food, Good Music, and a Good Cause, Too! |
| The tally is in, and after just our third Gospel Brunch; we've donated over $ 2000 to the SAMM Shelter Food Bank. Many thanks to everyone who's made our monthly Gospel Brunch a rousing success - staff for getting up early on a Sunday morning; patrons for your generous donations; and Miss Nessie and the Ear Food Gospel Orchestra for the music! Of course it's a labor of love for all who participate: after all, we eat, drink, and make music, too! |

In case you're unfamiliar with our Gospel Brunch here's the scoop: We gather at Casbeers one Sunday each month for brunch. The buffet starts at noon, but check your ticket for your exact seating time. Around one o'clock, Ear Food (aka Miss Neesie and the Easy Lutherans) start their divinely inspired gospel set.
| The buffet is typical of our regular menu. Steve says, "Nothin' fancy, but it's S.A. substantial." You'll find special treats for special occasions (Irish stew on St. Patrick's Day, for example) and there's always scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, biscuits, tortillas, cream gravy, chorizo and eggs, carne asada, barbacoa, fresh fruit, pan dulce, and of course Casbeers' Famous Enchiladas! Coffee, orange juice, and tea are included. Mimosas, beer, wine, Champaign, and soft drinks are available. |

| You get all of this for only $12, which basically covers the cost of the buffet (we always donate a portion of the proceeds to the Food Bank, too) Ear Food Orchestra donates their time by playing for free, and we pass the hat for additional donations. There are only one hundred tickets sold each month, so call or stop by to purchase yours before we sell out! |
| Remember! While these Fabulous Festivities are certainly superbly special, check out our calendar for other awesome acts this month. |
